Oakdale Square Alliance Recognizes Dedham Franchisee

Ziad Greige, franchisee of Tedeschi Food Shops in Dedham, was honored by the Oakdale Square Alliance for his dedicated community involvement. The Alliance presented Ziad with one of the first-ever Golden Acorn Awards at its January meeting, noting that Ziad is “the type of merchant who is essential for making Oakdale Square an economic success. . . . [with] dedication and genuine spirit to serve the needs of the neighborhood.”A proud member of the Tedeschi Food Shops family for over 12 years, Ziad believes that being active in his community is the best way to show appreciation for his loyal customers and build strong relationships with new customers. He proudly says that “Tedeschi’s is the heart of the Oakdale Square Alliance!”
Last year, Ziad became one of the founding members of the Alliance when a group of concerned citizens banded together to counteract negative influences in their neighborhood. The Oakdale Square Alliance focuses on beautifying Oakdale Square and supporting local businesses to revitalize the area.
On Valentine’s Day, Ziad will be participating in the Alliance’s “Love in the Square” event. Participating stores will be decorated with balloons and “heartwork” provided by the little artists at Oakdale Elementary School. Stop Ziad’s store on February 14th for a free cup of coffee or hot chocolate.
