07.07.14 | Tedeschi Food Shops is proud to announce the promotion of Greg Donoghue to Chief Operating Officer. Greg succeeds Robert Tedeschi Jr., who retired late last month after nearly 39 years of notable service. In his role, Greg will oversee all Operations and facilitates collaboration and project management oversight for all departmental interaction with stores.
Greg first began working at Tedeschi Food Shops in 2007 where he served as the General Counsel, focusing on real estate transactions, merger and acquisitions and employment matters. Since then, he has served as a leader in many roles that have helped transform the company, including Vice President of Human Resources and most recently as the Chief Operating Officer. As VP of Human Resources, Greg administered all hiring, oversaw a training group of four employees and recorded management and payroll administration for 2000 weekly payees. In preparing for his role as Chief Operating Officer, Greg spent 6 weeks working in a store, learning the ins and outs of the business at store level while rotating through all corporate departments.
Tedeschi Foods Shops is confident that Greg’s knowledge of the business has prepared him for his new role.
